Jill Hough

Senior Culinary Instructor Jill Silverman Hough has been with COPIA since opening day, starting as a food docent. With several years’ kitchen experience already under her belt, Jill was soon hired as a part-time instructor and has been at it ever since. When she’s not at COPIA, Jill works as a freelance food writer and recipe developer – her work has appeared in Bon Appétit, Cooking Light, Fine Cooking, Country Home, U.S. Airways' Attaché, Safeway's Every Season, ReadyMade, Clean Eating, and Napa Sonoma. Book projects include the recipes for Skinny Bitch in the Kitch, which premiered on the New York Times Best Seller List, and contributions to Weight Watchers’ Short Cuts. Jill is currently working on a food and wine pairing cookbook of her own, 100 Perfect Pairings, scheduled for release at the end of 2009. She lives in Napa, California, with her husband Doug.
