Home Study Option:
A Home-Study option is available for students unable to participate in the classroom lectures and tastings. You receive the WSET study materials, study on your own and take the exam at COPIA on a date agreed upon with the instructor (at least 3 weeks needed to order an exam). For those who are able to attend classes, the in-class option provides several advantages over home study. These advantages include: the increased discipline that classes bring to your studies, networking with other students, the opportunity to have questions answered by instructors, winetasting instruction, and winetasting practice at each class.
A home-study student may elect to take the exam on the date it is offered with the scheduled class for no additional fee. If an alternate exam date is needed an alternate exam fee of $110.00 will be assessed to the student. A minimum of 3 weeks is needed to schedule an alternate exam.
Cost for Home-Study Course (price includes WSET study materials and exam):
Intermediate Certificate - $350.00
